Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is characterized by chronic widespread pain or tenderness that lasts at least 3 months.  Currently there are no diagnostic tests such as x-rays or blood tests, to detect Fibromyalgia.  Although the symptoms of Fibromyalgia are very real, this diagnosis is confusing and often debatable.  This can be very frustrating and depressing to the individual suffering with these symptoms.

No one knows exactly what causes Fibromyalgia.  It is assumed that symptoms may be triggered by some physical or emotional traumatic event.  Because of its mysterious characteristics, treatment with conventional approaches is often difficult and ineffective.

This is why Function Restoration can be very effective in treating Fibromyalgia, since it addresses the deep disorder regardless of how or why it began.
